| Circa 300 AD Early Byzantine Mosaic |
For my History of Interiors class one project was to create a mosaic modeled after an original Byzantine mosaic. I found a mosaic panel from the time period and focused on one motif on the panel. To create my mosaic I took plates and cracked them into pieces then glued them to a board and sealing it with grout. I was afraid it was not going to resemble to original piece but once I applied the grout the piece came together.
