Process Poster of the Tiram Bench
Putting together a digital poster of my process work for the Tiram Bench was a simple task. To present the information clearly to an audience, I created a layout that was easy for the eyes to follow and was chronological. Beginning with the initial inspiration and concepts shows how the brain worked and lead to the final design. Besides from the design process, making a poster really helped develop my skills in InDesign. It was a great way for me to use the tools and learn more while I experimented with different grid formats. In the beginning I began with a solid green background and after adding all my pictures it looks boring an plain. It was brought to my attention that creating a background image in Photoshop would be more effective and it could connect to my concept. The rolling hills of the Palouse served as a wonderful backdrop showing the never ending hills that have a layered 'look' to them in the photo. This process poster allowed me to reflect on the work I did and think more about what I might do differently next time. There is always areas to grow in and develop ideas further.
